Selecting the RIGHT location for your start-up is Good Business!

I’m sure you’ve heard the three keys to a successful business are Location, Location, Location.  Well, with the internet, it’s less critical today, but if you’re thinking of starting a business where your success is determined by customers actually walking in, here are some tips.

 

 

  1. Ask yourself, is it necessary for your business to be in a high traffic location or will customers find you – even if you’re off the beaten path. 

 

  1. Determine how much space you’ll need and how the space will be used.  Are you looking for office space, manufacturing space, or both?

 

  1. Know what you can afford … whether you’re looking to buy or lease space… be sure you understand all of the costs involved.

 

  1. And finally… Check with your town hall to be sure you’re aware of any zoning issues in the community and ask about incentives available for locating there.   

 

 

By taking the time to do your research… you’ll find the location best suited for your start-up

 

AND your future…. and that’s good for business!.
