John Mendola - Your Host

 

 

 

 

John Mendola was born and raised in Wilkes-Barre where he graduated from Coughlin High School.

 
John continued his education pursuits by attending college at Temple University,Luzerne County Community
College, Wilkes University and Marywood University which allowed him to achieve a Bachelors Degree
in Communications and a Masters Degree in Education.
 
Although The Saturday Morning Sports Show only started on ESPN Radio 630, 1240 & 96.1FM,
John has been doing the FOX 56 High School Sportshow since 1994 and has been a sport enthusiast
supporting athletes of every age in their high school sports careers since. When not covering sports in
high schools across NortheastPennsylvania, you can find John spending time with his family including his
wife and four children. John also enjoys weight lifting, running, football,basketball, fishing and hunting.
