First lady Jill Biden took in the Tokyo Olympics scene as she cheered on Team USA on Saturday morning. She saw several events after watching Friday's opening ceremony. She watched the United States' women's national soccer team, swimming team and women's 3x3 basketball team compete. Members of the swimming team cheered her on with chants of "Dr. Biden" from the stands as she sat across the pool, stood up and waved back to them.

Biden cheered on the women's 3x3 basketball team in its 17-10 victory over France. The team features WNBA players Allisha Gray of the Dallas Wings, Kelsey Plum and Jackie Young of the Las Vegas Aces, and Stefanie Dolson of the Chicago Sky.

Past U.S. first ladies have also attended the Olympics over the years, including Michelle Obama at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, Laura Bush at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing and Nancy Reagan at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.

Other world leaders who have been in attendance for the Tokyo Olympics are France president Emmanuel Macron, Japan emperor Naruhito, Japan prime minister Suga Yoshihide, Tokyo governor Koike Yuriko, World Health Organization director general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus and president of the Tokyo Olympic organizing committee Hashimoto Seiko.
